Dear Property Owner,
Come rain or shine we are moving forward.
It is hard to believe that two years back we were in the depths of what was the worst experience ever.
Today, things are much better – but the challenges remain – and we have, to keep vigilant.
If it is not the ANC wanting to penalize the industry for employing non-South Africans, it is the National electricity supplier unable to deliver on that basic need we have just to operate. Quite extraordinary
Fortunately, if you are reading this, and are in business, well then, you are resilient.
You have worked out that survival is a continual process of evolving and adapting. All you have to do is see how the airline, Airlink has adapted in these times to give us all a boost.
From a small airline, cleverly marketed and marketing, for years under SAA, being part of the same booking system, it now is THE regional airline. Moving out the shadows and taking the limelight in this time when others have struggled.
Operating direct routes like Cape Town to Maun, or Cape Town to Kruger, they are just creaming it.
Well done for seeing the gap, seizing the opportunity that opened when the national carrier collapsed, and COMAIR closed after a long run of 50 plus years.
Keep looking for gaps. Keep adding value and offering a wonderful guest experience – who knows what happens down the line.
Enjoy the 11th month of the year.
Regards,
Richard Lendrum & the GHASA team
