Dear Property Owner

March is a great month is South Africa... if nothing else – for the weather. It's one thing  our government will never screw up.

A friend of mine said once, while listening to me rant about something, “Richard, lower your expectations and you will not be disappointed.” James Pinnell is a great friend, wise, and I will always remember this, as I so often call on it. Not only for myself, but to share with others. It really is quite a life changer when you simply lower your expectations.

While the ANC, our country’s leadership, our national government, and dare I say the actual co-author of our constitution himself – CR himself – are just so damn corrupt, it is hard to understand. So I don’t try. Simple.

I do not discuss it, or mull over how crooked he and the government are. I just work hard and control and appreciate what I can.

The weather is world class. The industry is picking up. And so, in the month of March, all you hospitality folk – who are so good at just putting on a brave face for the sake of your clients – my advice for March is:

Keep doing it and ignore the madnes.
