I am not sure of the statistics, or what is actually happening, but anectodally, if I look at the number of flights, the frequency, the increase in aircraft, things are moving forward in the tourism sector.
Having experienced Cape Town, Durban, Harare, and Maun airports in the past two months, I've noticed a definite uptick.
Sure, the political winds of change are blowing – but that is all above our paygrade and no economist or political analyst can predict what is going to happen.
It’s kind of like that worldwide.
We just need to knuckle down – offer great service, promote ourselves like crazy, and offer a world-class experience to every guest. Treat them like our lives depend on them. Because it actually does.
Winter is here. Stay warm and remain grateful.
Here’s to a great month.
